ABOUT
Inspire started in 2011 as Spira, a work fair for each of the different faculties, represented by Göta Studentkår. In 2020, Spira was rebranded as Inspire, combining all the individual work fairs into one career fair for all of the students at the University, represented by Göta. Why did we do this? Professions today are overlapping within industries, which makes it relevant and important to host a career fair for all of the faculties combined. The purpose is the same – to inspire – but now instead of individualising each faculty, Inspire opens up for networking in a broader range, both for companies and students.
It all started with students aiming to inspire other students. Inspire is a career fair created by students in collaboration with companies to inspire and to provide a broader sense of possibilities for both students and companies. Team Inspire is a project group consisting of committed, non-profiting students from all five faculties represented by Göta Studentkår, who are working hard towards creating the best career fair for students and companies, in addition to their individual studies.
Inspire is represented by the student union Göta Studentkår, which in turn represents the faculty of humanity, the social science faculty, the IT faculty, the science faculty and the educational science faculty. At Inspire, companies have the opportunity to reach out to and connect with over 25.000 students at the University of Gothenburg.
Our vision is to introduce students to their future, and companies to their future talents.
